Reliability Rides

The grandest of all Worcestershire reliability rides will be back on 29th March 2026

Pdf available here

What happens on a reliability ride?

Reliability Rides are for all abilities. Some Reliability Rides will set riders off in groups of average speed varying from 20mph to 12mph with the fastest riders leaving first. Our events start in groups but some may choose to ride the event as a test of their abilities whilst others will ride at a more comfortable pace for banter with other riders.

A warm welcome will be provided for returning riders with hot drinks, cake and possibly even more cake.

Traditionally the route is not signposted but a basic route map or description may be provided.  We will provide exact route details in due course.  These will be available to entrants as a GPS file.

This year we welcome Cycling Plus to our Reliability Ride.  As the UK’s biggest selling cycling magazine, we are really pleased to have them on board.  So for the camera, make sure that you look as glamourous as possible in your favourite Lycra.

Important Notes

  • Revised routes and start from Tibberton near Droitwich.
  • Please arrive with plenty of time to sign-on.  We will be open to riders from 08:20.  Please bring £5 cash if not pre-entered. Drinks and light refreshments will be available before the start.
  • Parking at Tibberton Village Hall (WR9 7TG) will  be tight. Please don’t arrive in a car expecting a parking place.  The is no sensible roadside parking.  If you are within riding distance of our HQ, please engage those cleats and toddle into to see us by riding to the start. If you are driving then please park in nearby Droitwich and ride to the start if you can.  If parking on residential roads, please avoid blocking driveways, etc.
  • We expect it to be busy and we will be sending off groups of 15 individuals at 3 minute intervals from 08:50 for the long route. Long route Fast riders should aim to leave with the earlier groups.   The Medium Route Group leaves at 09:20 and the Short Route Group leaves at 09:30. This will avoid  ‘sardines-in-a-can’ road cycling. The better the weather, the more busy it will be.

How to enter

  • £5 Cash on-the-day at registration.
