Time trialling is one of the purest forms of testing yourself on a bike, whilst there will be other riders competing at the sharp end for the fastest time of the night, ultimately it is just you against the stopwatch.  So come along and set your time with the aim of improving on it the following week.

It is also one of the cheapest cycling events you can enter, at just £4 per club event.  £3 of your entry fee goes to the national governing body Cycling Time Trials (CTT) which funds the running of the sport. More importantly you do not need any specialist equipment, it is not all high end carbon fiber frames, aero bars, disc wheels etc – as long as your bike is road worthy and has working FRONT and REAR lights you are all set and ready to go.  

If you are new to or are returning to time trialing, we recommend that you take the time to read the basic information for beginners and the your first time trial articles in the getting started section of the CTT website.

As a new club we are only currently running type B club events and you can enter up to three of these “come and try it” club events without being a member of a CTT affiliated cycling club, after which you need to be a member of the club and ideally registered on the CTT website.  Registration and membership of the CTT is free and simple using this CTT online form
